The fuel cell requires a pressure regulator with a range of features to provide accurate and stable control under varying operating conditions.
Why is this so important? Without the protection of a high quality pressure regulator, pressure spikes can have potentially devastating consequences on the fuel cell.
Our range includes back pressure and forward reducing regulators for applications such as drones, forklifts, refuelling stations, buses/trucks and electrolysers. This includes our EC79 approved AUTO438 regulator and TPED approved CV414-SC cylinder valve.
BUSES & TRUCKS
AUTO438: An EC79 approved pressure regulator designed for hydrogen-powered buses and trucks with a stable control of outlet pressures up to 20 bar (290 psi) from a maximum of 438 bar (6,350 psi) inlet pressure.
UAV DRONE & LIGHTWEIGHT APPLICATIONS
LW351: Lightweight (0.2kg) and compact pressure regulator designed to provide constant supply pressure to the hydrogen fuel cell with optional direct mounting to the gas cylinder.
Our back pressure regulators offer accurate and reliable pressure regulation, which is crucial to the efficiency and life span of the electrolyser. The range covers up to 690 bar (10,000 psi) control pressures, Cv 0.1 to 3.0 and 1/2" to 2" connections. Our BP301 is a popular choice for our electrolyser customers.
MATERIAL HANDLING INCL. FORKLIFT TRUCKS
LW-TS414: A lightweight aluminium two-stage regulator for very stable pressure control on light-duty hydrogen-powered material handling vehicle applications. Accurately reduces inlet pressures from 414 bar (6,000 psi) to a maximum outlet of 1 bar (14.5 psi).
RF1034: Featuring a balanced design for accurate control of the high pressures typically associated with hydrogen refuelling points and Cv 0.3 for fast refueling times. Its Tecasint® seat is perfect for high pressure gases and a range of precision machined sensing elements are used to provide control of pressures up to 1,034 bar (15,000 psi).
HYDROGEN GAS CYLINDERS
CV414-SC: A TPED approved self-closing cylinder valve for high pressure gas systems, offering users a quick and simple disconnect feature. When connected, it provides a continual supply of gas to the system. If a cylinder refill is required, the CV414-SC’s low torque design means it is easy for users to disconnect the valve to isolate the gas supply, even under high pressure, whilst the valve remains attached to the gas cylinder.
