Pressure Tech Sales Manager for SE Asia and China, Walter Koh, conducts site visit to remedy customer application issue.

Walter Koh, our Sales Manager for SE Asia and China, recently conducted a site visit to review a customer's application and help resolve performance issues with their existing set-up.

With two spring-loaded pressure regulators on an Argon process line, our customer experienced droop at 1,500Nm³/hr flow rate as the supply pressure gradually decreased from 200 bar to 100 bar, while trying to maintain outlet pressure at 40 bar - this was not acceptable for their process requirement.

Droop is a natural occurrence in spring-loaded regulators due to the change in the compressive load properties of the spring as the regulator opens and closes.

We recommended to change their existing regulators to our dome-loaded HF301, using supply pressure to charge the dome via our LF540 pilot regulator.

Our customer was under a tight deadline to complete their FAT. We supplied two dome-loaded HF301 pressure regulators within 6 weeks lead time to meet client’s schedule.

It was a great team effort between the Pressure Tech Ltd Sales, Design, Manufacturing, and Assembly teams to provide a perfect solution to our customer's application.
