TPED Certified CV414-SC Cylinder Valve
TPED 2010/35/EU certification on our CV414-SC self-closing cylinder valve

We are excited to announce TPED 2010/35/EU certification on our CV414-SC cylinder valve!

The news follows months of dedicated research, testing and development by Pressure Tech’s in-house design team, and is a great extension to our pressure regulators designed for use on hydrogen fuel cell applications!

The CV414-SC is a self-closing cylinder valve for high pressure gas systems, featuring a quick and simple disconnect feature. When connected, the valve provides a continual gas supply to the system. If a cylinder refill or change is required, the CV414-SC's low torque design means it is easy for users to disconnect the cylinder and valve from the regulator to isolate the gas supply, even under high pressure - the valve remains attached to the gas cylinder. Plus, as an optional extra, a burst disc may be added to offer additional gas cylinder protection. The TPED certification allows its use on applications involving the transportation of pressure equipment up to 350 bar (5,075 psi).
