ABOUT THE ROLE
Pressure Tech manufacture high pressure regulator valves in stainless steel for the oil and gas market and have over 1000 parts used in the assembly of our products. To support the expansion of our business we now require a Goods Inward Inspector.

DUTIES INCLUDE

• Move machined parts from production area to goods inward
  
• Checking goods received from external suppliers
  
• Record goods received on the company’s computer systems
  
• Raise any goods received non-conformance that may be found through the company’s computer systems
  
• Assist with non-conformance investigations on goods received when required
  
• Bag and label goods received
  
• Customer Return Handling
  
• Calibration management — internal and external
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualifications and competencies for role:
  
• Knowledge of measuring equipment — Verniers, Ring Gauges, Plug Gauges
  
• Positive attitude and keen to learn
  
• Methodical and focused approach to work
  
• Thorough and patient with excellent attention to detail
  
• Able to work effectively and accurately under time pressure
  
• Manual dexterity
  
• Computer literate
  
• Good team player
  
• Flexible, prepared to help out in other areas as required
  
• Quality Assurance awareness and experience
  
• The following skills would also be advantageous:
  
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards
  
• FLT Licence
  
• XRF Analyser Testing
  
• Quality Auditing Knowledge Internal and External
