ABOUT THE ROLE
Pressure Tech Ltd is entering one of the most exciting chapters in our 25-year history. With year-on-year growth and demand accelerating across Europe, we’re on the cusp of moving into brand-new, larger premises. This major investment gives us the space, technology, and infrastructure to continue our rapid expansion — and we’re now looking for a Business Development Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our European growth.
DUTIES INCLUDE
  • Building and managing a reseller network across European territories
  • Developing new customer relationships, and strengthening ties with existing accounts
  • Helping to develop a sales strategy and establish annual sales targets by identifying and exploiting the most profitable national markets to drive sales revenue growth
  • Generating consistent, profitable sales revenue growth to contribute towards achieving company-wide growth plans
  • Participating in exhibitions and events across Europe to raise brand awareness
  • Providing training, guidance, and support to resellers to maximise performance and evaluate their results against targets
  • Supplying regional market intelligence to inform sales strategy and production planning
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and relevant EU regulations in hydrogen, aerospace, and oil & gas
REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven external sales or business development experience (minimum 2 years)
  • Strong knowledge of pressure regulators, valves, or related engineering industries
  • Awareness of existing Quality procedures, and to be able to work within the guidelines of ISO 9001
  • Effective strategic planning
  • Presentation and key account management skills
  • Competent in Windows, MS Office, and CRM platform
  • Comfortable using AI tools to enhance productivity
  • Fluent German would be advantageous, but not essential
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven
  • Able to use initiative to plan and prioritise workload to meet business needs
  • Builds productive, long-term relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment
