Gaynor Hynes, our lovely Sales and Purchasing Coordinator, has been busy 'Baking for Bricks' this month in a bid to help raise money for a proposed new school in Gambia called JOFI for 6 to 11 year old children.
After returning from a recent trip to Africa, Gaynor spent time with Julie Maio, one of the main directors and fundraisers for the project. After asking what the project needs, Julie's reply was simple… bricks! In fact they need 9000 of them to build the school. Gaynor has been ‘Baking for Bricks’ throughout April in a bid to help progress the school build.
Staff at Pressure Tech have been happy to oblige, bringing in money every Wednesday to buy some of Gaynor’s delicious sweet and savoury treats. With 2 weeks to go, our total so far is a fantastic £80, which we're sure will go towards a fair few bricks!
