Position - Technical Support Engineer

40 hour week – (salary £15k negotiable depending on experience)

Pressure Tech manufacture high pressure regulator valves in stainless steel for the oil and gas market; where quality is essential to ensure reliability of product in typically hazardous areas. We require a highly motivated individual to assemble and test our extensive range of pressure regulators and work towards improving the procedures used within the overall manufacturing process.  Key responsibilities include:

• Assembly and testing of pressure control valves in line with issued sales orders and customers requirements
• Inspection of goods received from both internal and external suppliers
• Co-ordinate and control stock levels and communicate shortages to generate purchase orders
• Service regulators and return to customers with written reports on findings
• Component de-burring, marking and traceability.
• Apply and improve quality system to ISO-9001 operated within the company

Position - Technical Design and Sales Engineer

40 hour week – (salary £22k negotiable depending on experience)

Pressure Tech manufacture high pressure regulator valves in stainless steel for the oil and gas market; where quality is essential to ensure reliability of product in typically hazardous areas. We require a highly motivated individual to deal with customer’s enquiries and applications - from design through to quotation and assisting in processing of orders. The position combines technical design with responsibility for supporting sales within the company. The successful applicant will be required to work with customers to provide product realisation to existing products, and create quality designs with unique selling features on new products.  Key responsibilities include

•  Dealing with customers enquiries in verbal and written communication
•  Provide product selection for applications, and submit quotations against customer’s enquiries
•  Create and modify CAD drawings to ensure products continue to exceed customer and market expectations
•  Co-ordinate design of components with CNC operator to provide correct tolerance and efficient machining times
•  Ensure products comply with industry standards and approvals, working with certifying bodies   
•  Manage Bill of Materials and drawing records to ensure correct products are supplied against order requisitions.
•  Apply and improve quality system to ISO-9001 operated within the company
